Frequently Asked Questions
Combat trousers or tracksuit bottoms are most suitable with a t-shirt. You must wear closed toe trainers with laces or velcro. We will be doing a lot of physical activity so it is advisable not to wear your best clothes. Bring a bottle of water/sports drink to keep you hydrated throughout the session. You will be asked to remove all visible jewellery, as this could be harmful to you and the other group members. If you are attending a whole day session then bring a packed lunch. Hot drinks will be provided.
There are no fitness levels required for these classes. However, please give me a call if you have any concerns and we can have a chat.
That’s ok, neither have I. You absolutely do not need to have any martial arts experience to attend.
I have many years experience of running training sessions just like these ones. The classes are restricted to 12 ladies so you will always find the environment safe and comfortable. I have completed a suitable and sufficient risk assessment for each venue. There are an agreed set of safety standards that I make everyone aware of, and agree to before the commencement of any physical training.
Brilliant, I couldn’t think of a better activity for mother and daughter to do together.
A responsible adult must accompany any one attending under the age of 16. That adult will be actively encouraged to take part in the session as well.
